Happy Friday, Y'all! I'm looking forward to a fun weekend with the kids. We're going to Sweet Berry Farms to pick pumpkins and my daughter has asked if we can make pumpkin pie, too! I've never made a gluten free pie crust, so that will be a new adventure. I hope you all are finding some fall activities to do this weekend as well. I've included more ideas for you below. As for the Austin housing market, when I predicted at the beginning of January that prices would go up in Austin this year, I wouldn't have predicted it would be 17.55%! That's right, September stats are out and the average home price in Austin is up 17.55%! Also, did you know that Austin is #1 in the 50 fastest growing metros? Our population as of last year is 2.2 million, which is almost 30% higher than in 2010. Did you know that a little over half of Austin's new residents are moving from other parts of Texas? I was surprised to discover that as well as only 8% are coming from California. If you know anyone moving here from elsewhere, please reach out. Our team has a special way of helping people relocate to Austin with ease and a very soft landing. |
We already know that Austin’s real estate market is red hot right now, but recent statistics are showing some remarkable changes! See below how the Austin market has dramatically shifted YOY from last September. |
Total home sales are up 19.35%, and the average price has jumped 17.05% to $457,658. The average median price has jumped 12.08% to $350,000. Homes are currently on the market at a median of 11 days compared to 26 days last September.Â

Total home sales are up 14.52%, and the average price has jumped 17.55% to $583,142. The average median price has jumped 10.69% to $435,000. Homes are currently on the market at a median of 8 days compared to 18 days last September.Â
