Happy Friday, Y’all! It’s no surprise that tons of people are still flocking to the Austin area, especially with the continuation of new tech companies coming in and increased job opportunities. But I know many are curious to know where most of these new residents are coming from. California seems to be the biggest assumption, and while yes, many residents are indeed arriving here from the California area, the high majority of residents moving to Austin are from other Texas cities!
To get a more accurate view of this new resident demographic, the Austin Chamber recently released a full report on the latest Austin migration insight, and it’s very interesting! See below for the main highlights from the report, and if you want to discuss any of this or have any other real estate questions, just let me know!
Hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!
