Happy Thursday, Y’all! Another real estate study came out recently that put Austin at the top of the list of housing markets to watch in 2023 (keep reading below for the full scoop on this).

While I’ve discussed with you all how the Austin market is changing, this study shows how Austin is still one of the hottest in the U.S. as we move forward into the new year.

There are great investment opportunities in Austin, and I would love to help you (or someone you know) interested in buying take advantage of this current market when buyers have more options.

Additionally, if you are thinking about buying a brand new home rather than resale, I have some good news for you: It’s currently much easier to buy a new construction home now than in the past few years! Builders are coming up on the end of the year and are getting back to offering buyer incentives again.

Plus, I’ve seen many opportunities for new construction homes that are ready to be closed in as soon as the next few weeks. And they are offering generous incentives, including paying all of the buyers closing costs and significant rate buydowns. Austin Ranked the No. 4 U.S. Market to Watch in 2023, According to Study

he Austin real estate market may be changing, but it is still one of the hottest in the U.S. as we head into 2023.

The Urban Land Institute (ULI)'s annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate report, released October 27, names Austin the No. 4 U.S. market to watch in 2023, behind Nashville (No. 1), Dallas-Fort Worth (No. 2), and Atlanta (No. 3).

The report, a joint project between ULI and PricewaterhouseCoopers, "provides an outlook on real estate investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues throughout the United States and Canada."
