Happy Friday, Y’all! I hope you all have been enjoying this nice weather the past few days! It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful weekend ahead, so if you’re looking for something to do outdoors, then keep reading below for some of my team’s top picks for weekend fun, including a Wine & Wildflower tour.
Also happening this week is that the latest market stats for Austin are here (see below for a quick snapshot)!
According to the Austin Board of Realtors, in March, home sales decreased 6.3% to 1,048 sales, while sales dollar volume increased 9.6% to $809,687,300. At the same time, the median price rose 22.4% to $624,000, an all-time record for the City of Austin.
Last month, new listings decreased 7.5% to 1,316 listings, active listings rose 20.3% to 533 listings, while pending sales dropped by 18.7% to 1,128 pending sales. Monthly housing inventory increased 0.1 months year over year to 0.5 months of inventory.
Continued low inventory means it’s still the perfect time for sellers, but for buyers, I will continue to say that if you have any interest in buying, then don’t wait! Getting in now will only set you up for future real estate investment success. The Austin housing demand isn’t slowing down anytime time soon!
And if I can help you with anything, from real estate advice to resources or housing needs, you know where to find me!
