In a typical year, Independence Day is a terrible holiday for real estate. Apparently, there were enough people who didn't leave town this past weekend. We normally experience a dramatic lull in activity, but this year was definitely the exception. For example, we had 12 offers on our Double Spur listing in just 4 days! This is just one story out of many we're seeing in this market.
While it's not what most anticipated a housing crisis would look like, we are very much in one with a shortage of supply like I've never seen.
