I’m grateful for the mild spring (and also winter!) we had this year, but we’re now experiencing typical Austin summer temperatures. The best way most of us have found to beat the heat is to find some cool water to submerge ourselves in.

Pool Demand Goes Way Up

It's officially HOT, and that means it's time to swim! Swimming is certainly on the minds of Austin buyers: the number one home search criteria right now is pools. We're seeing inflatable pools selling out all over town, and pool contractors that are booked out until the end of the year!

If you have a pool at home, it may be time for some upkeep - here is a checklist of maintenance items for your pool that can help make sure your swimming season is off to a great start.

When I said the real estate market it hot, what I mean is that I've never seen a market like this in Austin in my 13-year career. We have more demand and less inventory of homes for sale than I've ever seen. With interest rates so low and Austin's strong economy, it's no wonder!
