This has been an odd week to say the least! From the Shelter-in-Place order in Austin, to continued multiple offers and new listings emerging, to the stock and mortgage markets going berserk (yes, a technical term), to my own health scare, it's a week for the record books. After 2 days of thinking I surely had coronavirus, I got tested and turns out I have the regular old flu. I have never in my life been so happy to have the flu! I realized then that I have more fear about this pandemic than I thought. Needless to say, this is affecting us all on so many levels - emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, etc, etc.
I am truly grateful for those who are on the frontlines of healthcare and government working to ensure a successful revival, both with our health and our economy.
I hope we all take this time to focus on our families, our health and supporting our communities— remembering self-care, washing our hands, and showing kindness and gratitude even during the toughest times.
While real estate may not be an immediate concern, protecting your investment is always a priority for us. If you have a concern or question, please reach out. I'll help in any way I can.
Though right now there is plenty of uncertainty, there is one thing I am sure of— we will recover!
