Happy Thursday, Y'all! Typically, at this time of year when it's hot as blazes and school is starting, Austin real estate can get a little quiet. This August is quite different to say the least! This year the heat is not keeping buyers away, and with the delayed start of school and virtual learning options, the market continues to roll along at a pace like I've not seen before (

Also, in the months preceding a presidential election, we see that many buyers and sellers hold off on transacting until after Inauguration Day. My prediction is that this year's election will not deter those who are making moves to Austin. The effects of the pandemic on our market is that we have even more demand than we had prior to March and this likely won't let up for quite a while.
