Happy Thursday, Y’all! For my fellow Austinites, I hope y'all are enjoying this beautiful Austin spring weather as much as I am! I'm looking forward to a sunny weekend ahead, especially when there are a lot of fun things happening in and around the city. As you'll see from my weekend guide below, there's an awesome outdoor flea market at Zilker Brewing worth checking out. And if you are planning on staying in this weekend, but still want something fun to do, there's a virtual Austin Weird Homes Tour that is all kinds of Austin-cool!
Speaking of homes, I just wanted to send one more friendly reminder that the deadlines for protesting your property's appraised value in Travis County, Hays County or Williamson County are fast approaching! It’s a smart idea to get your protest forms in ASAP if you believe the value of your home is too high or if your appraised value is more than you paid.
The deadline to send in your online protest form for Travis County or Hays County is May 17th, and for Williamson County, the deadline is May 12th.
To find out more info on the protest process and to submit your online protest form, please click on your county's link below.
And if you have any additional questions about your home's appraisal value or need any other real estate assistance, I'm always here to help!
