Happy Thursday, Y’all! What amazing weather we've been having for November! I was commenting about the great weather we've had all year to a parent in the carpool line yesterday, and she said, "That's the only good thing that has happened this year!" I acknowledge that we've all had some quite unusual and challenging things to deal with this year, some more than others.
I’ve noticed that every time something I don’t like (AKA something “bad”) happens, after enough time passes, I can look back and see the gifts I received through that experience. I can already see the gifts that have come from this year. On the business side, when the pandemic hit, real estate almost hit a standstill. However, that didn’t last, and now I’m grateful to say that we’ve been able expand our team and help more buyers and sellers than ever before. On the personal side, who knew that a pandemic would be the perfect thing for a newly blended family moving into a new home?! Spending so much time together at home has allowed us to grow closer and we have been on a home improvement spree that has no end in sight!
But my heart breaks for all the families who are suffering financially right now and who have lost loved ones. Even through tragedy, I believe we can find gifts. I recently heard an uplifting story that shines a light on this very notion, and you can check it out here.
I'd love to hear about the gifts in your life that have come from challenging times. Let's connect!
